| Ready for a fun night out! |
Although my mom grew up and Nashville, she hasn't been one that cares too much for country music. She was more of a Motown girl. I however, learned at a young age to love all types of music and really enjoy a fun night honky tonkin'! And what would be a fun night out if it wasn't for a good fiddle? One of my favorite instruments and whenever I hear it, I think of Nashville, Country Music and the Kibby's.

| Love the Fiddle! |
We didn't get into town until later on Friday, so we just went to dinner in the Gulch and ate in the MStreet district at the Whiskey Kitchen. The Gulch is a really fun area that has been revitalized thanks to private developers. Its a great neighborhood with lots of dining, shopping and living options.Saturday we went to Tavern Midtown for brunch. I feel like we always go to the place for brunch, but hey, who can pass up 2 for 1 Bloody Marys? After brunch the girls did some shopping, enjoying a beautiful early spring day, while the guys watched basketball at a bar. (Yes, this post is very over due, they were watching the NCAA Tournament!) Of course after shopping, we just happened to drive by our favorite treat shop Hot and Cold and made the decision we needed to stop for palentas or gourmet popsicles. The popsicles are amazing and made with no preservatives and made with fresh ingredients. Of course we took this healthy snack and had it dipped in chocolate - it was amazing!
Saturday night we went back to the Gulch to eat dinner then headed downtown for some live music! We had such a wonderful time! Sunday we surprised Uncle Pat and showed up at mass. We left shortly after lunch, but not before going back to Hot and Cold for another palenta. We had to let the guys in on our secret!
